Clarion Hotel Malmö Live

Wonderful breakfast set up, comfy bed, great shower. lots of elevators are nice to have in a build like that. OH, Amazing view from room!

The professionalism, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff who checked me in on 6 Jun and check me out on 10 Jun. It's a pity I didn't get his name but I think he was the only male staff there during that time. He has kindly gave me a wonderful room on the upper floor with a view to die for, and guide me on places of interest on a map. Upon check out, he has kindly help me store my luggages while we maximize our day in Malmö before we head for the airport. Breakfast was great with quite a lot of varieties to choose from Staff are polite and helpful eg staff who help me with the extra bed as well as cleaning staff who cleaned our room well. Location was great, everything seem to be within walking distance!

For the price I paid it was exceptional. I travelled from Copenhagen by train and could see the hotel from the station so easy to find. Only an easy five minute walk. Reception staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. My room was spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of lifts and easy to get around the hotel. I didn't use it but the gym was near my room and appeared to be popular. The views from the roof top bar on the 25th floor were spectacular. Unfortunately I left it too late to book a table but the food and ambience looked good. There was another restaurant on the ground floor but it looked busy with a big party so I went out and found a lovely area full of restaurants and was spoilt for choice. I had to leave early in the morning for another train for my onward journey and too early for the restaurant breakfast. But the reception staff had ordered a takeaway for me - bottle of water, fruit juice and sandwich, which was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were greeted by a super friendly receptionist who gave us some useful info about the sights without being pushy, felt really appreciated. The room we had booked was small and no views but this was for one night stay so did no bother us, the room itself was really spacious for its price, very clean and the beds were comfortable. Felt pretty new. Location was superb for train station, city centre and the strand. Breakfast was good with made to order omelettes and a large varied selection of food. I would definitely stay here again and for longer stays book a room with a view :) Great value for the money we paid!

Great location right near old town and most important things. Be sure to take a trip to the Malmo Library. Close to water as well for easy boat rental. Good nearby restaurants as well. Walkable to centrum train station.
